Orienteering is a sport in which participants use a map and a compass to find points in the landscape. It can be enjoyed as a walk in nature or as a competitive running sport. Five Rivers MetroParks hosts a number of O meets throughout the year, as well as programs to get new orienteers started.

Sat	06/28 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM	MVOC/ORRRC Orienteering Adventure Trail-O V Ohio River Road Runners Club (ORRRC) and Miami Valley Orienteering Club (MVOC) join together to feature a Trail Orienteering event. MVOC/ORRRC Orienteering Adventure Night-O II
Join the Miami Valley Orienteering Club for a unique night orienteering event. Bring a compass, water bottle, glow stick, flashlight, headlamp, whistle, reflective apparel and stop watch.

MVOC/ORRRC Orienteering Adventure Race III
Start and finish at Shumard Campsite for this 20K course with 24 controls possible. This trails-only orienteering event is sponsored by the Miami Valley Orienteering Club and Ohio River Road Runners Club.
