This list was made to be a resource to parents, grandparents and guardians, and is far from exhaustive. Parents Magazine - This site offers help to parents with children up to 6 years of age. You can search the site for age appropriate information by age and find fun family activities.

Ohio Line - This site from the Ohio State University Extension offers links on various topics, such as, family, yard and garden, food, community, and much more.

CYFERnet - This site offers resources to parents for children of all ages. You can navigate through the site by choosing Family and Community links or by choosing your child's age group.

State Standards - This site lets you pick a state and explore its educational standards. There are also links to the practice proficiency tests available online.

Children’s Medical Center - This site is a good resource for health tips and the latest health news. You can browse articles or subscribe to their online newsletter.

Financial Literacy - The financial education portion of the Federal Reserve explores a number of financial topics, including banking, mortgages, interest rates, and loans. A number of other links are also included on this site.

National Education Association - This website includes guides on a variety of school related topics, information for parent-teacher conferences, and practical suggestions and pointers for disciplining, motivating, and talking with children.

National PTA - This site includes a large number of parent resources as well as articles and issues facing schools.

National Youth Development Information Center - NYDIC outlines the most up-to-date research and programs involving youth. It includes information on events, statistics, and the impact of a wide range of activities.

Healthy Schools, Healthy Youth - Sponsored by the Center for Disease Control, this site provides articles and research on health topics, and information about school programs to promote health.

American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - This site is designed to assist families with understanding and treatment of developmental, behavioral, and mental disorders that affect children and adolescents.
